Vivian pretended to cough "ahem um...do you think I could get a glass of water to clear my throat?"

"Oh, sure!" Roxy disappeared from the room for a moment and then returned a few minutes later, carrying a glass of water. She held it out to Vivian with a smile. "Here ya go!" she said.

Vivian took the glass "Vivian what are you-" Sabriel began, Vivian (pretended) to trip spilling the glass of water over Roxy's feet and ankles.

Roxy let out a little shriek and leapt back as the water splashed all over her feet. She leaned against the wall, staring down at her feet. "What's happening!?" she exclaimed. The shoes that she had been wearing moments before were beginning to disolve and holes were starting to appear in them. Roxy stared.

"HAH I KNEW IT YOU'RE NOT REAL!!" Vivian yelled "what the heck did you do that for" Sabriel snapped bending down next to Roxy looking at her feet.

Roxy continue to stare down at her feet, as they slowly dissolved, with a terrified expression on her face. At first she thought this was the end....That she was going to disappear. But, after a few minutes, the water seemed to dry up, leaving her with ragged socks that had been partly dissolved from water. Her shoes were no where to be seen. "Not....real....?"

Roxy stepped away from the two, slowly edging her way towards the door. A painting...? Like on her wall...? She looked towards the door nervously and then back at them. "I...I guess I will..." she said slowly, attitude changing completely. The highful, clueless Roxy actually looked serious for once, and a little afraid.

Vivian raised her arm into a shooing motion "go on let's go we'll be right behind you" sabriel scowled "don't be so harsh she might have a mental-breakdown.....like the last one" she added quietly.

Roxy jumped back a little, stumbling backwards out the door. She slowly made her way towards the stairs, walking hesitantly as if she were afraid that she was going to suddenly disappear. She peeked over her shoulder to make sure that Vivian and Sabriel were following her, and then asked, "What do you mean...that last one...?" Her eyes were a little wide, a little unsure of what was going on...

"Uh......." Sabriel rubbed the back of her head "nothing at all" she lied "go on go ask your Mom stop trying to change the subject!" Vivian intersepted.

Roxy looked at both of them, expression unreadable. She blinked slowly, not saying anything... And for a few moments the room was silent. Then, she turned on her heel and took off running down the stairs.

Roxy reached the bottom of the stairs and turned a corner, disappearing into the hallway. She slowed to a walk and arrived outside of Chera's office. She looked down at her feet and a sad look came over her face. Then she looked up again, and glanced over her shoulder to see if her friends had followed.

Vivian and Sabriel came slowly behind her and stood on either side of her. Vivian rubbed the top of her head and Sabriel nodded to Chera "Ma'm" her way of saying hello.
